The only thing I keep in TP is charcoal, everything else is gathered when the messenger arrives. You can already order the workers to collect stock needed when a messenger is in town. Of course you can't store food in warehouses.

You can always build a warehouse or 2 next to your TP as well to store any stock for TP that the workers can get quickly. And start again.Įven if you click the 'x' next to 1 item in TP it puts it in TP (down the bottom) and frees up a space to be used.then you could just put the amount of that item back on trade items list after the wagon has collected the new stock you have sold. It is held in the TP, but not itemised for trade, until either they return it from where it came from or it's needed elsewhere in the town. I'm sure that Yev could come up with something more elegant, but I think either the trader needs to go to the places where I have the items stored, OR he needs to wait until my trade post workers and laborers can gather the items in a makeshift storage (so that I don't have to physically store that item as a hard item in storage) so that they can be loaded onto the traders wagons. Then comes along a trader that wants clothing of 500 units (example remember.) but I've got no more slots free store the clothing, and there's no way that they are going to empty a slot and fill it with clothing in time.

What I would envision is that when I make a deal to export to a trader, the workers go and gather what I've made a deal for, this would require having a storage to hold them as items that I want to one time trade.įor example, I have a trade building full of stuff that apparently the traders rarely want or they want in such small demand that it's pointless to store it.
